I had included this one in my Memorial Day variety pack, but I think she justifies her own post. As I mentioned she broke her ankle while vacationing in south america. Apparently she was staying at one of those remote resorts where you need to take a car and a boat to get to. She slipped on some wet stairs breaking her right ankle in 2 places and spraining her left ankle. Being in the remote resort, all she could do was apply an ice pack and try to tough it out through the night. The next day she was flown to the nearest major city where she was diagnosed and casted, then immediately whisked off onto a commercial flight back to the US.
Upon arrival in the states she went immediately to the local ER where the south american cast was removed, and she was placed in the first cast you see below. She went back a week later and was told she needed surgery, that is when they cut the cast along the sides to prep for the surgery the next morning (hence the ace wrap holding it together).
After surgery she has been placed in a short leg cast (Which I don't have pics for yet) Stay tuned!
