Hey it's cait again, I have read through this blog and read a lot of the comments to the pictures. It's extremely odd to me, but I can give you a little detail on the cast here now! I'm not on the computer very often, I'm not exactly tech savvy. I prefer to enjoy my time watching movies until I can get out again! I broke my tib/fib playing soccer, got my first cast 5 weeks ago! It hurt pretty bad for the first week or two, I practically can't feel it anymore now. The cast goes from the upper thigh right down to almost the base of my toes, the ball of my foot sticks out quite a bit. I get lazy on crutches and tend to drag my cast/foot a lot. My arms are sore from using them. The "sole" of the cast is quite tore up, it's coming apart around my toes. It's pretty dirty and sloppy looking & to be honest (I know this is sooo gross, esp. For a girl) I almost never clean my toes. Hence the horrid smell. It's just too hard to clean often & I'm not too flexible with this cast! Despite being an athletic 27 year old! A lot of your comments seem to be about the toes, so maybe I'll talk about that for a little? Like I said earlier, I have fairly long toes, i think they're gross! Athletic feet I guess.. Haha but I have no shame! So whatever :) I hate the fact that I am constantly aware I have no sock on my left foot! The cast itself dosent smell, I can slide my hand in the cast by my thigh, and it dosent smell at all! But my foot is a different story, I can smell my toes when I'm lieing down in bed. Yes this was actually my first injury, I have had a few minor sprains before but this is my first, actually now second, cast! Hey it's cait! I pretty much sit at home all day still on the internet, I'm turning into a real computer bug! I check this blog all of the time!! It's very flattering :) no, no crutches for sprains before! Just very minor stuff! Everything is a lot easier in the smaller cast, I'm enjoying it a lot more than the bigger one! Still not really "enjoying" it though haha. I still can't put weight on it! I drag it all of the time though. The bottom is looking dirty and scruffy already, ughhh haha. It dosent smell as bad aound my toes, I'm able to clean them a lot easier, I have only done it once since this cast has been put on though. Yes, I find the smell of women's feet VERY attractive, and it would be a life long fantasy to have my wife, or girlfriend (which ever one I had at the time) that had a long leg cast on and I could smell her sexy toes in the cast.
