Round 2 - Reader Participation Game

Update***

Ding Ding Ding - we have winners! 6 comments 3 males, 3 females. Love it! I knew you guys were out there - so good to hear from you!

As promised here is your reward!!!

First you see the xray... multiple tibia fractures... and it was later determined that she fractured her ankle as well.

Then you get the sweet pink full leg cast I mentioned

Next a great view of the cast that shows her toes

and finally after she had surgery to fix the tibia and ankle a blue short leg cast.

What did everyone think of this reward? Good? Hope I didn't over sell it?

So Round 1 of the Reader Participation Game was a great success! Ready for Round 2?

Reader Participation Game - Round 2

CHALLENGE: I want 4 comments from readers that answer:
1. Your sex,
2. approx age,
3. If you had the choice of putting your partner in a cast or yourself in a cast which would you choose and why? and what kind of cast would it be?
4. If you HAD to be in an actual medical cast for an injury - what kind of cast would you want to be in and why?

AT LEAST 1 COMMENT HAS TO BE FROM A FEMALE! ;)

REWARD: I have 3 pictures that I want to share. They are of a college aged female who suffered multiple tibia breaks while sliding into 3rd base playing softball. The result is a absolutely perfect Pink Full Leg Cast that goes high on her leg and perfectly displays her toes which are painted blue. Also included is a pic of her xray showing the breaks in her tibia.

Ready? GO!

Hm, in fact this would make already 2 comments:-) ...I already posted a lengthy one, but it did not show up ...

Sex: Male (around 30)
Cast: LL(W) with toeplate
I would prefer being casted and receiving care

Also in case of a medical cast it would be a LLC and then a LL(W)C. Having such a big cast to give relief from the pain must be extreme.

I have some rec-cast experience and smaller cast just don't do it for me. It must be the "big thing", and best as real as it gets. Having your full leg constrained in a position while being forced to use crutches is definitely a super hot experience.
The advantage of a medical cast would be the opportunity to enjoy that for several weeks without the need to invent stories around it and being helped by others.

I would definitely like to try out real plaster which is even heavier and has the more traditional "look and feel". Unfortunately I did not have a chance so far to do that ...

I'd like to be put in a DHS with the bar and both my legs at 90 degrees with toe plates... maybe on one or both feet. That would of course have to include a catheter because the bed pan idea is just silly. Want to know what I'd want to do in this said giant cast? More prizes.;)

4. If you HAD to be in an actual medical cast for an injury - what kind of cast would you want to be in and why?
I would probably only want a long leg cast with a toe plate just because I'm not sure how much pain I'd be able to endure (not that it wouldn't still be hot, but let's be real here). The cast should also go as high up my leg as possible. And perhaps a neck brace for something small like whiplash or something.

I'm a mid twenties male. I've always wanted to cast my girlfriend or have her in a med cast of some kind, preferably a leg cast of any variety. I also like the idea of a medical cast because of the process: splint to LLC to SLC to walking boot to a CAM over 3 or 4 month period, the longer the better, obviously. If i had to have a med cast I'd take anything but an LAC. As long as I could bend my arms, I'd be content. However there is a certain fear that would go along with a LLC. A broken leg freaks me out, but I'm game.

I'm a mid-thirties female.

I would LOVE to put my partner in either a DLLC or DHS. She would have to ambulated using a wheelchair, use a cath, and get a much better idea of what I have to live with every day as a paraplegic(MVA January 12, 1991).

If I HAD to break a bone, a leg would be easy for me. Is that cheating, since I couldn't do a cast because of my paralysis? OK, it would probably be a scaphoid fracture, since I don't think that would be too painful. A large pink LATS would be very nice to wear for a few weeks, followed by a SATS.

I'm a mid twenties female. I would like to be in a one and one half hip spica since it is a nice immobilizing cast that I will still somewhat be able to crutch around in.

For a med cast, I was thinking of two broken legs, splints to DLLC to DSLC to Dual Cam Walker. Perhaps a spreader bar with the leg casts. Spreaders are always interesting, especially on a term cast.

I would love for her to be in a purple LLC with only a slight knee bend. I've casted myself plenty but I think it would be cool to see her in one.

As far as a med cast, while the LLC is my favorite cast and I've worn it recreationally, I think an LLC for a med term would get old after a while. So if I had to be in a medical cast I would prefer either an SLC or an LAC

@EuroCastLover - I like the aspect of "receiving care" as well. That is the submissive side of me.

@Anon #1 - Why the toeplates?

@Anon #2 - Yes having never broken a bone before - there is definite fear of the unknown associate with an injury!

@Anon #3 - Wow a paraplegic... Would love to ask you some more questions about that... Very curious. Email me if you want to discuss further

@Anon #4 - Wow a Hip Spica or Dual LLC... Impressive. Would love to know why. Email me if you are open to discussing this further.

@Anon #5 - a girl in a purple LLC is always great!

How do you have all of this info on her? Could we see it?

Toe plates... because they've always fascinated me. They're not common and they're more restrictive than a leg cast which makes things more interesting... I mean imagine trying to curl your toes... :)
